Abram's first trip to the dentist

On Monday, Ethan had a dentist appointment and I brought Abram along to "see" what it was all about. Ethan is like me, LOVES the dentist and is just awesome there...he was a wonderful example for Abram. When we were leaving I was able to get an appt for Abram for the very NEXT day...score! Abram was just as awesome as Ethan...maybe even better because he wasn't trying to talk throughout the entire exam. I have been blessed with boys that love to go to the dentist and great insurance...good thing because both boys each have a few cavities...not blessed with good baby teeth :(

getting ready for the cleaning.

As soon as he got in the chair and reclined he did this, it was awesome!

the sunglasses keep Mr. Light from shining in his eyes ;)
counting teeth, total=20
flossing

fluoride treatment...bubble gum flavor
and with Dr. Mike
...and during the appt I got a little teary eyed thinking this will be the last time I go to a first dentist appt ever again...then I quickly pulled myself together!!!

What...what is that I see?

SPRING in Minnesota?!?!
We have been having some awesome Spring like weather. Many of my flowers are starting to wake up from their LONG winters rest...and it makes me smile.
I love my flower gardens and can't wait for full bloom.
Soon, so very soon I will see the beauty of this frozen tundra.

Ethan is a yellow belt!!!

Last Thursday Ethan tested for his yellow belt and passed. Of course we were proud as can be. We love that Ethan loves Tae Kwon Do so much! Way to go Ethan!

Easter morning

The kids love to wake up on Easter morning too see what we have left for them. They don't believe in the Easter bunny or any of that "stuff" but we still like to get them a little something. Steven and I hide some eggs in the house for them to find and they just love it! The boys know that the real meaning of Easter is that our Savior rose from the dead and conquered death and how very grateful we are for that! He IS risen!

Easter baskets from us :)

Ethan loved his Webkin.

Abram loved ALL his stuff.

showing off their new jammies :)

Abram searching very fast for his eggs...final count 15!

Ethan was quick too, final count...24!
the boys showing their eggs :)
they are just so stinkin' adorable, I LoVe them!!!

We hope you had a blessed Easter!

Easter bunny/mall crafts and the park(s)

Yesterday I took the boys by myself to the mall to do the crafts and see the scary bunny. Steven really dislikes this event so he was glad he had to work. The boys were good for me so after the mall we spent 5 hours outside...Spring like weather, 55-58 degrees!!! We went to 2 different parks and the boys loved it more than you know. After 6 months of winter you better believe they loved it! They did complain a little of being too hot and getting sweaty...LOL

coloring Easter eggs

On Thursday night The NessNest colored Easter eggs.
the boys
Abram so excited as he dropped his first egg in.
And there's Ethan's first egg in.

The boys and I.
And every year Abram drinks the nasty vinegar dye.

All done! (don't mind Ethan's mismatched socks)
The kids love doing this and have such a fun, easy time.
And this year, they ate 5 as we were coloring...silly boys!

Abram~seriously!

This little guy is something else.
On Thursday he ate 2 breakfasts...the first a bowl of cereal,
the second and entire 10" pizza to himself.
Seriously kid!!
He also likes to poop TOTALLY naked NO MATTER WHERE WE ARE...
Seriously kid!
No matter how much I try to coax him to NOT get naked, nothing works...so I just let him.
This has happened at Target, Scheels, many restaurants and BK today...

And when we go to BK play land he prefers to play with the air condition vents and a napkin,

way funner then those nasty tubes anyway...

Seriously kid!

Oh man, he is SERIOUSLY one cute kid!
