Throw in dentist appointments for both boys, soccer practice two nights a week for both boys and the swim season starting for Ethan, fire training for Steven and my life was CHAOTIC in May.
In May, Steven and I went to NYC with my brother Marvin and his wife Summer. Summer and I usually do a girls weekend once a year but this year our husbands said if we were going to NYC they were coming too. We had the most wonderful time. The food, the things we did, the time spent together laughing, walking many, many miles, meeting up with our NY friends...all of it was so much fun. Thanks Marvin and Summer for such a fun trip!
Just arriving in New York.
First thing we did was find a fire station Steven could visit,
luckily this one was right next to our hotel.
then we went to Times Square.
We made it to Liberty Island and Ellis Island.
and got to see The Statue of Liberty.
We went to the Broadway musical Wicked. It was INCREDIBLE!
We took the subway to Ground Zero.
They are rebuilding Ground Zero into the Freedom Towers.
We went to Rockefeller Center to the top aka "Top of the Rock."
and Central Park.
Springtime in NY was amazing.
We loved NYC and all it had to offer. We hope to go back again some day.
