11 Random Things
-I really, really love coffee. The smell, taste, color...all of it.
-I miss my grandparents everyday. Every.single.day.
-In the 14 years we've been married, we've lived in 3 houses.
-I'm not a sweets girl, or pizza girl, or an ice cream girl either.
-In college, I thought after I graduated and I'd move to a big city(like NY or Chicago), work 60+ hours a week in corporate America, live in a swanky apartment, eat sushi and drink wine every night. Little did I know God had other plans for my life, plans that have far exceeded anything that other life could have given me.
-My husband and I are total opposites.
-My husband and I are total opposites.
-I really don't like animals or pets. *shudder*
-We have a cat. *shudder*
-I love doing laundry.
-Fall is my favorite season, with Spring a close second. I love what both have to offer.
-I have never smoked a cigarette, ever. *puke*
Now to answers Melissa's question to me:
1. What is your favorite childhood memory?
-for my 10th birthday my dad bought me a Raspberry Red Schwinn beach cruiser...I LOVED that bike.
2. What is your biggest fear?
-my biggest fear is having my husband die before we're super old, way grey and before me or having my children die before they have to bury Steven and I.
3. When you started driving, what kind of car did you have? (Whether it was the family vehicle or you were given it just for you.)
-On my 16th birthday I was given a $20 bill(back then that filled the tank) and the keys to a Nissan pickup truck that had been through several people before me. It's name was "The Nasty." It was an old, dirty, paint chipping, interior torn, broken radio, best first set of wheels that was FREE! It was eventually passed on the my husband who drove it into the ground. It had well over 500,000 original miles on it.
4. What moves you to tears?
Any sort of military homecoming.

5 Question Friday
Here's my weekly Friday post...
1. Are you looking forward to the time change this weekend?
I suppose. I do like it staying lighter longer but wish it were also warmer so we could enjoy the outside light, longer.
2. Are you getting the new iPad/would you want a iPad?
No and no. I have a laptop and iPhone, I really don't see the need for another time waster.
3. If money was not a problem, what is the one thing you would splurge on?
A Disney vacation before my boys are too old to like Disney, that or a lake cabin ;)
4. How did you and the Mr. (or Mrs.) meet?
I met Steven is high school. It was the first week of my senior year. I was sitting in yearbook class running my mouth when in walked Steven, a 15 year old Sophomore. We ended up getting paired up together on the same assignments causing us to spend time together. But it wasn't until 3 years later, just as Steven was finishing his senior of high school that we started dating and married a year later :)
5. Summer is right around the corner. Bikini or one-piece?
Bikini=bwhahahahaa! ONE-PIECE for me!!!

5 Question Friday
1. Where is your favorite vacation spot and why?
Any vacation spot is my favorite. We've traveled to Puerto Rico, Cabo San Lucas, New York, California, South Dakota. I've been to Las Vegas and Chicago with just my sister in law. I've liked all of these vacations. Any time I can get away from normal life activities I like it!
2. What is your biggest guilty pleasure?
Probably watching The Bachelor. It's trashy and oh so bad but I for some reason I love it, that and Facebook.
3. What is your favorite fashion trend right now? Or, in the past?
Currently I like skinny jeans with tall boots. I think it's such a cute look.
4. What are your spring break plans?
Now that I'm married with children I don't really "spring break." Our boys only get Good Friday and the Monday after Easter off so it's not really long enough to go anywhere.
5. What baby names do you hate?
Well...since this is my blog and my opinion, don't get all crazy on me for this.
I dislike any baby name that reminds me of someone I dislike. I also think it's weird, in 2012 to name a baby a name that sounds like an adult name to me; Debbie, Tammy, Linda, Barbara, Fred, Marvin(my brother's name, lol) ect. I just can't imagine looking at a little baby and saying, "Ahhh how cute, look a little Debbie." I do know that those babies grow into adults, *I* just wouldn't name my child something that sounded so adult-ish or maybe it's the late 70's adult names I don't like...
