Now why can't it ALWAYS be like this?
The other day Steven captured this angelic picture of our boys having a brief moment of brotherly love. I'm sure it didn't last long but at least it was a cute picture opportunity.

Easter morning
Happy Easter~He is Risen!!!
He is risen indeed!!!
I hope you all had a blessed Easter Sunday. Here are a few pics of the boys...
Easter loot mom and dad delivered, the boys don't believe in the Easter bunny. Ethan said the idea freaked him out, LOL.

Nothing like chocolate bunnies for breakfast before church...

Easter Bunny and mall crafts
This morning we went to the mall to see the Easter Bunny(usually the Easter Bunnies are so scary, but this one was ok) that Ethan keeps telling me isn't "REAL"(he told me know knows the Easter Bunny isn't real, which is ok with me) and participate in the crafts they provide. The kids always have so much fun, more than I can say for Steven. He told me last night to just buy crafts and they can do them at home! LOL Of course you see we went to the mall after all. :)

egg dying-part 3
Spring break day 2-egg dying
Today after I got off work, Ethan and I went on our weekly date. We went to the Coffee Cabin again and sipped cocoa and chatted. I love this kid. He is such a hoot to hang out with. Then we hit up the grocery store to pick up our Easter dinner fixin's. We are in charge of bringing Steven's amazing mashed potatos, veggies, chips and dip. Then we colored Easter eggs. The boys have been looking forward to this all week. They had a complete blast!

Spring break day 1
Yesterday was Ethan's first day of spring break so we decided to tag along with Steven to a business meeting he had in the cities. We dropped him off and then I took the boys (all by myself, lol) to the Children's Museum. Ethan LOVES museums of all kinds so I knew he'd love this. We saw many kids leaving the museum with painted faces so that was the first thing we did when we got there. Ethan did his own face and I did Abram's. Now if you're wondering why they're dressed alike it was so that if one got lost I could remember what the other was wearing and it's easier to keep track of them that way, smart if you ask me, LOL!
We had a BLAST!!! It was a perfect day!

Well, that was...NOT fun!!!
So yesterday at work I felt like I was having symptoms of a heart attack and the pain was getting worse. I came home from work and Steven took me to the ER where we were advised to go. They ran a bunch of tests; EKG, X-Ray, bloodwork, all came back clear, not a heart attack. So what was it then? They thought maybe my gallbladder so I stayed overnight so I could have an ultrasound EARLY this morning. That was the worst night EVER. LOUD, BRIGHT, ROOMMATE...all of it was terrible. My IV hurt from the moment it was stuck in me, the nurses partied all night long and were LOUD, the lights for goodness sakes, I felt like I was at a ball game at night, my roommate, yes I said roommate, SNORED! It was just not fun for me. Anyway, ultrasound came back clear too, which I felt were good signs except we still didn't know what was wrong with me. Final diagnosis...extreme heartburn/acid reflux most likely cause by recent stress and anxiety. So I hope to eliminate the stress and was prescibed some Prilosec. I hope to never experience the hospial again. Unless giving birth, I hate to be there! Thanks for all those who were praying, thanks Heather for staying until I was ready to fall alseep last night, thanks to my work for the beautiful flowers, thanks Pastor Steve for the visit and thanks Steven for rescuing me today and bringing me HOME!!!

Happy Birthday Steven
I know your birthday sucked, driving for 11 hours and all...but it was with me, didn't that make it better??? I hope this year brings you many wonderful opportunities and blessings!
Love you babe!!! :)

We're HOME!!!
Wow, what an amazing and emotional trip we had. I missed my boys but it was a great time with Steven, other wonderful couples, Pastors and time with God. We spent 4 days at a ranch style camp/retreat in Missouri and it was awesome. The food was incredible, we had a personal chef that cooked us 3 perfect meals everyday and we formed some amazing friendships as well. The weather was INCREDIBLE!!! They had NO SNOW left and it was in the 50's and 60's!!! We traveled through 7 states, (Minnesota, Iowa, ND, SD, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska).
One of the best parts of the trip though was last night when we got to break away from our group and go visit some old friends from Cali that all moved away to Missouri. We were only about 40 minutes from them and knew we couldn't pass that opportunity up.
We laughed...HARD, joked, visited, remembered, met their children...it was awesome. The only thing is, we wish we lived closer to them. Jessie and Crystal remind me of my sister and I, just awesome girls full of life and love for the Lord. Robert, Kim, Jas and Lance are doing amazing and I think Robert is half the size he was. Billy was looking pretty thin as well. We stayed later than we should have, poor Billy has to get up early for work and we almost made Robert late for work.
Crystal and Jessie overheard that it was Steven's birthday today and prepared two Reeses PB Easter eggs for him with candles and Billy presented Steven with this treat while we all sang. Steven totally thought I told them but it was their own doing and kind hearts that lead them.
Thanks girls, Steven loved it!!!
We're SO happy to have spent time with all of you. Thanks Kyle and Jessie for opening your home to us last night. What awesome fellowship we had!
