Family day

A few weeks ago we had a great family day in Fargo. Went to the Red River Zoo, Space Aliens for lunch and saw Aliens in the Attic at a dollar theatre. We had a fabulous day!

also known as:

Bubby, Doodle, Doodle bug, Reno, Reno Beano, BubaReno and the absolute love of my life...

started preschool last week. He did the summer program to warm him up to the idea of being away from me. He made an amazing amount of progress in his 5 weeks of the summer program. From the first day of crying and begging me not to leave him there until the last day where I dropped him off at the curb and my heart crumbled into a million pieces. As happy as I was that he made progress I was also sad that he didn't "need" me to walk him to the door. Last week he told me, "Mom you can just drop me off here at the curb, I'll be ok." I did, with tears in my eyes, a smile on my face and once again a crumbled heart. I love this little boy more than life itself.

Thankful Thursday

We are thankful for FALL approaching and these three tiny pumpkins that have grown in our garden. We are looking forward to the many more that are continuing to grow.
