Abram

also known as:
Bubby, Doodle, Doodle bug, Reno, Reno Beano, BubaReno and the absolute love of my life...
started preschool last week. He did the summer program to warm him up to the idea of being away from me. He made an amazing amount of progress in his 5 weeks of the summer program. From the first day of crying and begging me not to leave him there until the last day where I dropped him off at the curb and my heart crumbled into a million pieces. As happy as I was that he made progress I was also sad that he didn't "need" me to walk him to the door. Last week he told me, "Mom you can just drop me off here at the curb, I'll be ok." I did, with tears in my eyes, a smile on my face and once again a crumbled heart. I love this little boy more than life itself.

What a big boy!! Megan started preschool last year 3 days a week so she would be used to leaving me, but all year and already this year, she just hangs onto my leg with tears in her eyes. I know she has a great time once pried away because she doesn't stop talking once she's home! LOL

Yep, all grown up. Try not to blink or you'll miss the next 13 years and you'll be sending him off to college. They grow so fast!

It is very hard to leave your kids at school just wait till they leave to start their lives out of your house. Your heart will be in a million pieces for a long time.
